The Düsseldorf artist Carola Paschold participates in the large exhibition Girl Friends in the Women’s Museum Bonn. As protagonists she chose the Guerrilla Girls, an originally anonymous since 1985 feminist group of artists from New York. Their goal is to combat sexism and racism in the art world. The guerrilla girls wear gorilla masks to focus on their actions and activities, not on their personals.
The exhibition “Girlfriends – from romantic salon to networks today” from 18.02.-16.09.2018 is part of the overall project for the jubilee year 100 years of women’s suffrage (from 3 Oct. 2018).
